Go into run and type 'appwiz.cpl', tick the 'Show Updates' box and uninstall the update.

Make sure that you don't have any apps running while you uninstall.

Thats why I miss Autopatcher. I have a legit version on both xp and vista but used autopatcher so that I could update all my machines once a month or so and choose what updates to install without connecting to microsoft. MS shut them down tho, shame really. Glad my auto updates are off tho
