Nice job Nvidia/crytek. Seriously, should of just waited a few more weeks instead of releasing this crap.
Aww

Thanks for telling.

With these drivers i get around 30-35 fps with a mix of settings on very high and high. 1920x1200 with no AA. With everything on Very high and with no AA i get around 15-20 fps. I overclocked my cards to 600 core and 920mem. and my cpu to 3.4 Hopefully nvidia releases another set of drivers to increase performance more because 15 fps on my system is quite sad. My demo works fine launching out of download manager now. I will try to run the 64bit exec in admin mode to see if it gives any better performance.

Edit: running the 64-bit exe causes crysis to freeze. I assume then that download manager is launching the 32-bit version then.

Well, if others are having trouble with the drivers, why would you want to go through the same thing? I'd wait until I hear about new drivers.

Sounds like the problems are kinda mixed either way, not a smooth demo release imo.

I don't think I'm even gonna try to play this game anymore for at least a year the way it's lookin. The MP beta played fine for me though and it wasn't optimized, and this SP demo IS supposed to be optimized....LOL

I got something to say after playing the demo for a bit.

Crysis is a flop.

1920x1200, no aa, no af, very high settings 10-20FPS..
1920x1200, no aa, no af, high settings 15-25FPS..

SLI simply just BSODs me so i'm force to run single card.

Its just gonna be like FSX - almost everyone can run it, but nobody can max it with acceptable FPS. :P At least not until some of the new high end hardware starts showing up i guess.

Where did the time go where Crytek could make Crysis run flawlessly on a single 6800 Ultra.

Pffft, Developers and their promises...

These drivers are not better than the last I just keep getting the display driver stopped responding message over and over. I am starting to loathe nvidia...
