just disable the service and maybe disable it so it never starts

You can't disable the service with msconfig or services.msc this is why you need to force it off via registry hacks or special programs.

emmanuel when you disable it do you get failed to load drivers in event log i get 3 when i disable it Luafv nvstrap and some kbdriver with it enabled i get no errors.

By disabling UAC you are also preventing some programs write access to the temp folder which can cause problems. As much of a pain UAC is, having to reboot and reenable because a program needs access to temp files is almost as bad.

One of the many reasons why I haven't made the full time switch to Vista.
