DRM (hurts the consumer. not the pirate)

and things like that single mother of 3 that makes 30k a year that got a like 120K fine for downloading like 29 songs?

there is a line... and they have erased it..

Who cares? The only reason the courts are still on their side is because they don't know the tactics the RIAA/MPAA actually employ.

Things like this make me happy.

Reading this brought a smile to my face. The RIAA are a bunch of bullies, so respect is due to whoever hacked their site. What the RIAA and the music industry need to get over is the fact that after years of being ripped off by them, technology has given people a means to fight back.

Makes me happy too, I'm just saying that there is not much justification for this hacking a site even one owned and run by the RIAA. Any judge that looked at the law would see it the same way.

I can't believe that no one is arguing. Usually, there is always at least one person who takes the other side, and says booo.... then comes a mini flame war.... you know the RIAA is hated when everyone here is happy anout it.... what they stand for isn't all that bad; it's their method of execution and the whole thing with the rediculous fines that pisses me off
