Default [Fudzilla] AMD To Release Web Browser

I found this kinda interesting. Amd seems to be getting more into software to go along with product promotion and such. Although it is Fudzilla, it doesn't seem unrealistic or anything .

AMD Live is the name

AMD managed to pull a rabbit out of its hat and showed us the AMD live web browser, which is currently in beta stage. This new stuff renders Fudzilla.com nice and it can organize your videos and pictures. It is actually a part of AMD’s live package a 6MB small download that can organize and render in “much better than vista like experience” Videos, HD videos, Pictures or your music. AMD calls this application AMD live browser.

The best of all is that it’s incredibly easy to use. What we really liked was the fact that you can browse the net and at the same time you can watch a video, and this is what many people usually do. This is just a wish coming true.

You simply drag your video to an upper right hand corner and it resizes itself and makes a space for browser, all this runs in real time.

The HD Video power will depend on which CPU you have. It will naturally work the best with four cores while less you have, less performance you shall get.

It works, feels nice and this is definitely be a nice addition for AMD users. We will be playing with this in our lab and we will tell you more about it.

If this thing does not render according to W3C standards, I'll never buy an AMD processor ever again.

Seriously.

That's just what AMD needs - to branch out into software. Their hardware is kicking so much intel/nvidia ass that they're in prime position to delve into a completely different field

Programmers at AMD have so much free time on their hands, get back to work on the drivers now please. Looks interesting though.

I believe that was the time they gained while waiting for the hardware guys to figure out Phenom, which was delayed a couple of times.

Exactly lol

AMD is losing the CPU war and in the GPU war... So the CEO's and Chairmen were like: "HEY! Lets dumb money into a Web Browser!"

What the hell? Most of the world uses IE and most of the smart people use Opera/Mozilla, so, the AMD browser either needs to be godly or nobody will use it. On top of this, in stead of wasting money here, use the money on development. Make some money, beat intel/nVidia, and then branch out to make earnings.

I am not genius, but, neither is this plan. It's so typical of AMD, they do most things backwards and incorrectly.
