Could you please get off your goddamn soap box IANDH. You said your peace, let other people say theirs. You aren't swaying one person with your belligerent, over-boisterous, proselytizing.

Just because you think that piracy is stealing, doesn't make it so. Wake up.

Anyone here on this forum has every right to advocate for piracy if they want to, we don't need Mommy patrolling our forum space.

Lets put it in the simplest terms possible for those who cannot comprehend English.

Hypothetical situation: I own a lemonade stand. If I spend $20 on supplies, and then make it up and even make a profit from customers, and one of my family members goes into my house and drinks lemonade from my fridge.

Am I loosing money, or am I not gaining more?

The latter is the correct answer.

lol all depends on how you look at it. still being in the black but yet not making as much can still be considered a loss of money.
sure they still should turn a profit but if what once would of been a sale turns into a free download that can be considered a loss of revinue

Think about it logically guys, you can't loose money you don't have.

First off, "loosing" isn't a word. Second off, I don't think that analogy makes sense. If you were intending to sell that lemonade, then you lost money.

iandh, don't you dare badger me about insults. You have no space to criticize me. pauldovi at least posed a challenge to my proposal.

paul: I'll have to get back to you on that.
Well then you are dense.

You claim it is okay to steel from a software developer because they are not out one copy and because it isn't a physical object.

Having a service done (like a repairman fixing your bathroom) results in no physical object and he is not out one copy.

My computer cost me $4500(approx). Let's say I want to sell it used; $3750-$3500 is about what it is worth. If I said I wanted to sell my computer right now for $10,000, but only received $4000, did I lose money, or did I not receive what I was not justified to receive? I did not have that money to begin with, who can say it was mine?

I get paid at my job on an hourly basis, if I come in for 20 hours a week, and get paid $10.00 an hour, I make $200.00. If I come into work 15 hours for one week, did I lose money, or did I not EARN money.

You might as well have just recited the alphabet backwards instead with how unrelated that post is to anything.

And the more complex you thieves make your analogies, the more it looks as though you are desperate to show that you aren't stealing, proving that you in fact are.

After the epic fail that was The Matrix The Game, Grand Turismo 4 and NBA 2k7 ( everyone bricks layups in that game, it's so frustrating if your main character cant dunk ) I think that if i had an opportunity to try before i buy, i definitely would.
