This is true, most of the people who pirate are probably too poor to buy the game anyway. If you've got the cash you go and buy it without thinking twice. My opinion.

I know some people who don't have much money will try it first and if they like it will buy, but I think their are a lot of people who can afford it but just do it because they can.

If you want to stop piracy, especially for multiplayer games - then either you do what STEAM does or what EA does. 1 key to one account, no if ands or buts about it. If you dont like it - sucks to be you.

And yea, they sell games at $50 a pop and sell millions, i doubt they spend in excess of 50 million to build the game.

There's already a work around for that, albeit you have to play it in Russian while you are in there.

And ya, you could have that many leechers over a week period, the same person leeching for that whole time. I doubt anyone is going to download a 6.5 gig game in a single day.
