If none of the artist turn out to make it.....
to be honest, i'm just pissed because of all the shots taken at pc gaming. For good reason it seems. But i wouldn't have any problem if they released the games via steam, as long as i can still buy the cd.

And like said, cod has never had a proper security system

I download all my games. If I like them I will buy them. Same goes for my music and films.

Certain companies continue to make games that I like so in those situations I will buy without downloading. They have built up a reputation which I buy in to, if I feel it's a good reputation.

Piracy only hurts the industry if the person who downloads the game/film/album was going to buy it beforehand. If they weren't the artist/publisher hasn't lost any money, if anything they now have the chance to make more money. If the person who downloaded it has half a brain cell they will buy it if they like it.

But, you can't go and steal a car from someone then say I like it, I will buy it. So I can see their point on that front.

Game devs arnt losing money because the people who pirate probably wernt going to buy the game in the first place because they didnt have the money to go blow 60$ on a piece of crap. There are only a few games I will actually buy and those are Console games and MMO's. Other than that screw you hackers out there ill just Lan it w/ my friend.

key thing though - not as much, infact rarely.

If devs do exactly what EA does with their Battefield games - its full proof and cant be pirated unless you share an account with people, and not more then 1 person can log in.

Piracy on consoles isn't going to stay as small as it is forever. They are going to want to think of better ways to fight it then protection.

Until developers release a half decent Demo that gives us some indication what the final product will be, then OK, I won't download. But I am not going to buy a car without test driving it. That is final.

These industries make a crap load of money either way. Do not tell me otherwise, or you just fall flat on your stupid face and believe whatever these multi million dolor corporations tell you.

You would have to be a major moron to compare Terrorism to piracy. On that matter, you are just comparing apples to oranges without a decent fight to it. So that makes you an imbecile.

Your a moron. If the game isn't good, you are not going to play it. Claiming the game is bad as an excuse for your pirating is childish. Get a life.

They are both wrong but i think people need to wake up and start paying for games. I havent pirated a single game, but i frequently use limewire if i hear a song on the radio, i download a few songs off of limewire and if i like other songs from the artist i go out and buy the CD. I have done this many times, but i also have a few friends whos library completely consists of limewire music.

If you want to try the full game borrow it from a friend for a few days, torrenting it isnt helping the situation and if it continues piracy will be a strong reason for developers to go console only.
There are plenty of ways to demo content including games and music without stealing it.

Pirates make me sick for stealing. They make me even sicker for their lame excuses for why they steal.
