Well considering XP until SP2 was crap really, right now its looking much better as with this SP1 vista is already running nicely (im still using RC1 and its running great)

yeah, they should have thrown in xp to make a 'base' for the vista marks. (i cant think of the word we used to use when we did pracs in science) score with xp and sp3 rc2 is prob 8600+ for 3dmark 06 score which is about 6-7% diff to vista vanilla. imo neways

SP2 finally turned on the firewall by default. That in itself made it the most important service pack.

Wow I knew there was a difference when I upgraded, but it doubled the FPS in one of the games in high-res......that's amazing.
