Same.

The experience has been infinity better for me.

As for the networking, that is due to networks not cooperating with crappy Wireless draft N cards. Restricting the Wireless to "ABG" or updating drivers fixes this.

Personally I love my Vista now. Took a little to get use too, and zapping UAC was a must, but I have 0 complaints. Booting in about 12 seconds is just awesome.

I rather enjoy working with Vista now. Granted it may be slightly more demanding (system wise) than XP, PCs have gotten so much more powerful in the last two years that it is not really an issue anymore.

Vista may be fine and all but when you consider it's the pinnacle of what one of the most powerful corporations managed to build after some 5-6 years of work then it doesn't sound that great.
You'd think they would have been able to build a better OS, and you'd think they would have abandoned the philosophy of releasing unfinished software.

Yes because somehow having a lot of money makes humans smarter, and more efficient...

In case you didn't understand let me explain it to you: having a lot of money means you can employ the smartest and brightest and provide them with whatever is necessary to get the job done.

Wow, you need to not take jokes about vista so personally, my friend.

It's just that that video came to mind when I read the title "Gates says vista is doing just fine!" I remembered something about gates saying vista sucked, so I went and looked it up.

PS: of course the members on an enthusiast forum are going to be pro-whatever-is-new. Wanna take that poll global?

Vista runs fine on my computer. I liked it while I had it. However, my personal view does not reflect the view of the majority.
