I never blamed FOSS, I just said I had issues with some of the reasoning behind certain project forks. FOSS is fine, but too much forks and the overabundance of parallel projects are a constant problem that have often caused the lack of proper stability and support on the platform; the whole audio mess is but one of the most clear examples.
