Screw it. I'm going for the straight-up server download. I'm getting my full down capacity with it.

Edit: Never mind... It slowed WAY down since I last checked....

Edit again: guess my ports were blocked lol
I was trying the FTP download at work yesterday, and the 4GB+ file (for the PPC version) was reporting a 190MB file size.

I'm still having problems as well. I downloaded directly via FTP, and I got an 8MB file. I tried the torrent again, and I've been getting nothing but errors. I'm at 35% now since yesterday, and it's using an average of 50KB/s out of my maximum 160KB/s, and I keep getting errors every few min or so and keep having to manually resume the download...

I have no idea what's going on. So far as I can tell, the downloading process for Fedora 9 has been a failure.

Wow, this downloading has been absolute crap. I'm having a hell of a time getting this torrent working. Have any of you been able to download this yet?

My downloads of the x86 and PPC installation DVDs just finished last night. It took more than a day to download those images, which is some pretty unprecedented crap for a Linux ISO Torrent with thousands of seeders. I tried downloading from the FTP again yesterday, and it was still broke.. 4.1GB file reporting 191MB file size.

Oh well, I got what I was after.. Finally.

Edit: Oh, great.. Now, trying from home, I can get an image from the Virginia Tech FTP at a steady 1.2MB/s.. And it reports a correct file size. Amazin'!

This has been the worst !@#$ing download I have ever gone through. 3 days, countless "errors," and it's still not done yet. I keep getting !@#$ing errors, and they cause me to have to hit "resume torrent download." The download won't even go at my max bandwidth speed.

This is bull. I'm quite irritated.

If it would download, perhaps I could tell you.

Fedora is usually faster than Suse, though. And it's not all that bloated.

I always thought that Fedora integrates better with GNOME.

Well, my download says ~50 min left, but I'm damn sure that this will mean ~3 hours with the errors. And I don't know if it's (wow, just got an error pop up right here, right now) going to work.
