I wonder if compiling it for x86_64 (and FreeBSD) is too hard for their brain...

The plugin itself is closed source, therefore you can only use it as they give it to you i.e no source to compile.

Maybe they just don't want to release a X86-64 extension (evil bastards ). I doubt it's because they can't figure it out.

Or create a downloadable version of FF3 for PS3. So many pages don't load with proper layout on that browser.
