its just people are so lazy these days...

Back in the good old days, with your 8080 and Green screen. Playing games was just so well built, ran fast. Now that everything is evolved and technology is getting so more advance, it takes more to make a game. Thus costing more and & time which us don't have. Also, this makes us feel like "why are we doing this" and we tend to try to solve in a lazy way

Don't forget people demand backwards compatability in software AND hardware. Plus throw in the diverse hardware requirements... makes it a programmers nightmare.

This has no bearing on games and gaming, I presume ( a number of EA's sports games still have some problems in Vista ) , unless EA's ( Pogo's) servers are considered enterprise hardware?

Im trying. Ive been learning C++ and some ASM myself. But they probably have around the same amount experience in coding as much as I do life.
They get payed for it, go to school for it, its their job. My job, is to be a student citizen and listen to my parents-get good grades. Not make up for lazy workers.

Programmers are lazy people who love to complain. They don't want to go to Vista because it has strick limitation on what scope a program has, making it more secure, but also more difficult to program for.

Gah... And they like to call themselves Software Engineers. Give me a break!
