I think this article is trying to put a spin on the bill in the aspect of privacy software. Something just doesn't seem right......I mean severely limiting use of privacy software? I dunno.....something is fishy. If this concerns you and you're a voting citizen, then call your state Senators and your precinct's Representative and voice your opinion! Also: Don't Copy That Floppy I was thinking of this after BartenderParadox posted that pic ![]()

![]() The main reason I use torrents to download things (breaking no copyrights, strictly open source programs only) is because I am too impatient to wait for delivery if it came on a DVD.

Lmao, this means Google, Yahoo, and every other search engine will be removed from the internet. THEY ALL LEAD TO ILLEGAL INFORMATION!
It's called a life, senator, get one.

Don't blame the pirates for the industry's downfall. They are doing the same with music, and the only people getting anywhere are those offering music cheaply and easily (iTunes and the like). Look at gaming, Steam is immensely popular. It's easier, cheaper, and people will pay a reasonable fee for that ease.

There is already an international DCMA type treaty (I forget the name). Sweden is not a part of it which is why TPB can legally operate there. I don' see how making another treaty, which I'm sure Sweden would not be a part of, will fix anything

I believe it's more the movie industry that has always taken action against torrents and other p2p methods.
