It should work that way, I have noticed some people having issue with missing bookmarks and certain add-ons not working.

I gotta say I'm not a fan of FF3 yet. In fact, I wish i could go back to FF3 RC1. THAT was perfect. I'm running it on a mac, and my toolbar freezes up. Aside from that. It's running slow. But RC1... That's where it's at.
