As far as that OP's post.. the article that the guys wrote is completely biased.. That guy would not know a good MMO if it slapped him in the face.

Right now im in a guild that has the (Possible) US first Battlekeep. (supposedly theres some Ebonlore cheat/hacker guild that beat us... so not sure).

So far I am absolutally loving the game. The best combat I have seen in any MMO.. I admit there is serious problems that they are working on... but was WOW perfect on launch?? HAHAHAHA.... nuff said.

People complain that certian classes are overpowered.. umm duh? Every class in EVERY MMO has its rival class.. the one class that is going to own them.

IE WOW:
Warriors get owned by mages.. mages get owned by warlocks.. warlocks get owned by rogues... and so on...

It never going to be perfectly balanced where every class is going to be evenly matched against every other class..

As far as PvP goes.. Man the guild PvP so far on Deathwhisper is amazing. We basically have to get 25-35 people together to take an entire zone and lock it down... works great to help our guildies level

Sounds awesome , kinda iffy on jumping into it just yet. Going to youtube some vids , get an idea. already in ww2ol , which I like a lot. $15 , don't know if I can justify another $15 for another MMOG :P

You don't need to play Limbo of the Lost to know that it is going to suck. Likewise, you don't need to play AoC to know that the combat and siege systems are going to suck too. Some games just suck balls, no matter how much time you give them.

Patches are coming out twice a week and things are getting fixed faster than expected..

The game will balance and get polished out soon enough.. I'm sure by giving us 30 or even 60 days of game time would make a lot of us happy and make it seem worthwhile for us because a lot of the game was not playable.

The people that do not like this game are in fact, hardcore WoW players, because they are losing time playing WoW. People that are impatient, immature, beggars, and people that are lone wolf and do not group up with others.

*edit* and that article is so "Doom and Gloom". The author is so intent on making it seem like the worst thing possible has happened. It even goes as far to say the combat is bad (and basicly everything about the game is bad). The combat is awesome. I love the environments. Very diverse. This is the only MMO to keep me hooked past half lvl (lvl 40 in this case). lets hope Funcom tries to cut down some server maintnence by taking some out. Good luck funcom! I love your game!

Although, I agree about the "no one can run it". My laptop with a 9500M can't even do medium.

Played through level 39.

I believe the only thing that sets this game apart are the revolutionary (in terms of an MMO) graphics, and the nice UI.

Here are it's quirks (IMO):
The PVP system is sub-par; quests are very traditional; combat is no different from any other MMO; combos? wow... take more time to get a skill off; loot system sucks; skill system is horrendous.. i can go on.

What level is your character in WoW? lmao.

Better yet, how many 70s do you have?

Age of Conan has a great thing going, it just needs more content and more bug fixes.

and maybe a buff for melee classes.... combos are too hard to pull off on those pansy circle-strafers
