Im not a fan of Kid Rocks music at all but what he says about the record industry makes sense.
I think what he meant when he said "steal everything" is "stick it to the man with me". But i could be wrong. usually the most literal interpretation is the correct one.

Kid Rock isn't crazy. Taken out of context that looks a little looney, but his overall message (to me) is 'Major labels, oil company's, and the like are out of control and everyone should do something about it. and I don't care if I lose some money out of it because all I really want to do is preform.'
Kid Rock is a pretty sarcastic guy and enjoys joking around (especially with the media). Anyone else ever see his interview on larry king? To put it bluntly, he doesn't give a f***
