Didn't take the time to read the reast of the read but if someone has already reported this then I apologize....
I finally got my second 2900XT tonight which was cool. When I first installed the second card I changed the drivers to the 8.6's from7.10's which I hadn't seen any real reason to change but figured why not. Any time that I tried to do anything 3D in Crossfire with the 8.6's my screen started a combination of a repeating scroll and tearing. Uninstalled 8.6 and reinstalled 7.10. 3DMark06 ran without a hitch(I'm below average ), and Test Drive Unlimited also ran well. I cranked everything up on COD4 and that crashed after a couple of minutes. Haven't tried firing it up again.
System is sig rig running XP Pro SP2 and stock video card speeds.
