Sorry, Safari does not work well on my comp. It is the biggest memory hog I have ever seen. It probably works better on Macs, but that browser is a mess on windows.

Dave, I can see you are quite the Apple geek, Mozilla has come along way since 2005. They fix problems with firefox before apple even begins troubleshooting the problem...i dont see any daily builds of safari..(though there could be secret versions not available to public)

Compare the simple look of Safari, to IE, Firefox, and Opera.

Have you even tried anything but Safari?...if you think the Firefox toolbar is harder to use than Safari's, I like Firefox's better since it has a colored icon next to the name so its easier to recognize the site..such as a small flame for OCN

um everything program made by Mac looks like Itunes its there like layout I believe
Iphoto garageband safari Imove all of them look close to the same

which is like Itunes

I really wish my Ipod looked more like Itunes then my mac stuff would match better

You complain that FF and Opera is too complicated becuse it allows you to have add-ons and such, but you say that the perfect browser should have everything you need and be simple at the same time.

I like greasemonkey because I can run macros in my OS, I like NoScript because it lets me block JavaScript, I like Ad-block because it blocks ads for me. Unless a "simple" browser has these features, or the option to add these features, it just doesn't cut it for me.

Being simple, but allowing for complexity is why I like Firefox.

I think are confused man, Im pointing out that all your NEED is it to be plain and simple and that's what makes a browser. If you add the possibility of all these little addons and tools and all that, that no longer makes it a browser. It now becomes a toy and something more than a browser. Emphasis on BROWSER.

And another thing that I find funny is that first of all, all you people complain about Safari as if EVERYONE hates it. And second of all, why the hell are you hating on Safari in a Safari thread? LMAO that's the ironic part.

I have not said that it's harder I just said that Safari's is nicer because it's got a more clean, garbage free look to it as opposed to other browsers with all the button borders and mini icons in every place possible. It's like other browsers are trying to distract you from the Web so you could play with the browser. Now what is the point of that?

I never said I hated safari, I even use it as my second browser.
