Default [Apple] Apple Safari 3.1.2

Quote:
Experience the web, Apple style, with Safari: the fastest, easiest-to-use web browser in the world. With its simple, elegant interface, Safari gets out of your way and lets you enjoy the web - up to 2 times faster than Internet Explorer. Safari's clean, sleek look lets you focus on the web instead of your browser. The browser frame is a mere one pixel wide. You see a scroll bar only when you need one. You see no status bar by default a blue progress bar fills the address field as the page loads giving you more room to browse and view the web.

And with commonly used tools like a Google search field built right into Safari, you can get anywhere on the web faster.

Tabbed browsing, pop-up blocker and more are all fully implemented and supported.

Safari is really speedy on macs, gotta admit, but it has nothing going for it on XP vs. FF.

I love Safari on my PC, i don't care what anyone says, i've used all of the web browsers people have told me about and I have not found a single one that satisfies me more than Safari. It's simple, fast, and has everything you need for web browsing. All other browsers just overcomplicate themselves and give too many options or add ons. In terms of browsing the web and downloading files what more do you need than Safari. And what's most important is that I have been using safari for a long time now and have not had a single problem. If that doesn't say anything then I don't know what does.

Opera is nice but the problem again is that it's got too many options in it. Browsing should be clean and simple and not overloaded with all kinds of gadgets and tools.

ya thats kind of true that there a lot of options to customise the browser but those options r for easier browsing

for a more comfortable browsing

the mouse shortcuts the tabs etc the keyboard short cuts

but opera does not have many gadgets, and the ones it does r optional and are not heavy

i have not really tried safari yet

In my opinion customizations only complicate the browser, a browser shouldn't have to be customized or anything, only thing is if you want it to look visually different you can have the option to change the skin but that's about it. Other than that a browser should have everything already set up when you install and you shouldn't have to change anything to make browsing easier. Keyboard/Mouse shortcuts are unnecessary because bookmarks and favorites are all you need which is what safari has straight up in the window. Perfect
