I'll try these tomorrow. I had a lot of trouble with the P05 bios and went back to the P04. We'll see how this works.

Any reason why it shows P05 in CPUZ for me? I've flashed twice through CD method because the stupid system update won't open for some reason. I normally do it though windows.

These are doing the same thing as the p05 bios for me? My cpu multi keeps throttling from 6x to 9x and my OC from 2.4ghz to 3.6ghz. I reset defaults and everything else I was supposed to do too. The P05 bios really lagged my system down but these seem fine other than the cpu problem. What am I doing wrong here because this can't be to bios in a row that are no good for me?

You are saying its going from 6(2.4) to 9(3.6) but do you mean it the other way around?

Turn off speedstep in bios. There's also another option, can't remember what it's called, something about conserving power... it should say on the right hand side if you find the right option, but disable that as well.

+rep for freeroller for pointing this out for me.

It seems to stabilize at 3.6ghz under load so it must be a bios setting for power consumption or something. Speedstep is disabled.
joemaniaci, I have it set to 3.6ghz and it keeps jumping from 3.6 to 2.4 via the multi. The FSB stays at 1600 which is where i have it set. Rep+ for the ideas guys thanks.

Got it fixed. Forgot to disable the C1e state and the thermo state thing.
