With Foxit at 2.6MB, I'll continue to use it. I have to wonder what exactly Adobe is throwing in there to make it a 210MB program...

Adobe Reader is in the same category as Quicktime and Real Player in my mind. I wish people would just stop making PDF files.

+1 - That was my reason to switch to Foxit. I was fed up with laggy scrolling on a bus route PDF - I still can't comprehend how its possible my CPU would get taxed scrolling through the thing...

That's not an option, PDF is a universal document standard and most recently it gained ISO certification. Sadly, the Reader ain't by anyway optimized for most of todays PCs yet it's loaded with millions of plugins that most of use would never use. Foxit is the way Adobe reader oughta be.

PDF files are wonderful as work on nearly any system.

Adobe is the problem, not PDFs.
