Wow, this must have JUST happened today, because I was looking for another distro yesterday, visited gentoo.com, went to the download page, and saw that 2008 was still unstable.

Actually it did.

I found out because I couldn't find my existing Gentoo LiveCD and I had to visit their website to download another. It was a nice coincidence to find out that 2008.0 was completed the same day.
