The Zune software has no extra bs. Just the program itself. Not even the Windows Live toolbar which surprised me tbh.

You've clearly never used a mac. When I bought my Macbook, it was refreshing to see nothing but Grade A software installed, like Garage Band. Macs don't come with bloatware. There's no "free trials" this, try "this for 30 days" that. There's no reason to immediately format your laptop when you buy it. Maybe that's why Macs are a little more pricey...

Now I'll admit I don't like itunes one bit, but to imply Macs are full of bloatware is just nonsense.

I'm glad I didn't install Apple's stupid Update software. Now I can just keep my perfectly working version of iTunes while avoiding all of their spam-ware updates.

Except the iWork and MSO trials. Although to completely delete them requires only dragging the icons to the trash and hitting delete.

Apple really needs to stop doing this, though. I always found it to be low to include crap without telling you. That's something adobe would do.

I'm so tired of uninstalling this stuff from people's PC. Seriously, something has to be done. Maybe i could make a service that prevents it from happening.
