I agree! I need to use quicktime at work due to some dopehead webmaster (apple fan boi), and I cannot even install quicktime without being forced to install itunes. CRAP!

itunes+quicktime+bonjour+applemobiledevice+apple auto update+safari auto update+itunes auto update.... sigh had to reformat my D driver cause all of this was on it
