Dont quote me but i thought they did..
IE8 should be more standards compliant. If it is, Kudos to M$ for getting their act together.

That said, unless it accepts the XML/XHTML mime type and parses as XML, I won't be happy. I also want to see proper levels of compatability with W3C specs.

There is no conclusive test to show W3C compliancy. The ACID test shows how well browsers handle code (including falling back correctly on faulty code).

Hmm, seems promising, IE7 wasn't THAT bad.
Still, FF3 is pretty discouraging, TMP isn't compatible, which may eventually lead me to start using Opera.

FF and IE have there share of problems

At my work FF has the most problems, with HTML, XML, JAVA SCRIPT and more time has been spent to make sure FF works, all the other browers we have tested here have little to no problem compare to FF.

What are you talking about? Flash is available for any browser you want.

I don't care if people use Firefox, just so long as they don't use IE! If you like Opera, Konqueror, etc. then fine, but no matter what they do to IE, it'll still be integrated with the OS, which is a horrible idea, as is ActiveX.
