NVIDIA today released the Unreal Tournament 3 NVIDIA PhysX Mod Pack which includes three maps. Make sure to enable "Hardware Physics" under Video Settings in the UT3 settings. Driver release v177.39 or later is required for GPU PhysX hardware acceleration. This pack requires a PhysX-enabled card or a NVIDIA Series 8 graphics card (minimum). Thanks: The Patches Scrolls.

I've yet to try this out!

Err... is this the pack containing the tornado, lighthouse and heatray map? If so, this is not news, nor is this even new. It was out back when Ageia still owned PhysX and nobody would have even guessed nvidia would buy them. In other words, this is really old.

Well unless they made three new maps (the old ones are Lighthouse, Tornado and Heat Ray), it is not new. They just took the old pack, gave it a new name and slapped the nvidia logo on it.

Oh, yeah it is the same old one. All they did was take the old pack, and bunch it together with physX content for other games as well.

they seemed to be, i BSOD fairly early.

its just a bunch of random and seemingly misplaced objects that move around, the surfaces are "soft", meaning when a rocket explodes on them they depress.

and the tornado picks up a few random objects, yourself included, and throws them around.

then @#*%# BSOD .. so i cant say anymore.
