alot of the reason is the average user uses a windows base os. if everyone was using linux or osx the they would change the program to attack the dominante os.

Yes, it bypasses the built-in Vista stuff. Which is fine, cuz I have it all disabled anyway, lol. I use a different firewall, anti-malware, and anti-virus programs. Until I see an article claiming it can "bypass" what I use, then I'm not worried, and Vista isn't at risk.
