![]() ![]() My point is, they are saying current DX10 hardware will be able to run DX11....but upcoming hardware will have "made for DX11!" on the box. Helps sales....does not mean you need it. Unlike the DX9-DX10 jump, which had a hardware threshold.

I think DirectX 10 was definitely rushed. It didn't offer anything new really (apart from improved water effects in some games) and they really should have lumped DirectX 11 features in with it.

DX10 was to increase framerates and replace the API, DX11 is for image quality and continues on DX10 by including DX10 in itself. That is my hypothesis as to DX10's lack of visuals, seems supported by the info on DX11 so far.

Ok so
__________________A) DX11 will work with DX10 hardware, as in we wont need new hardware to enable DX11 features. B) Can I ask what games support DX10.1? other than assasins creed as theres no DIFFERENCE whatsoever lol. Thanks
