I'm confused. Several times the article says that DX11 will remain compatible with DX10 and DX10.1 class hardware. Does this mean they can support the extra features (or some of them) of DX11, or it will just work in legacy mode, like how you can install DX9 on a DX8 card?

Means DX11 software will run on DX10 hardware but the DX11 features will be disabled.

In other words, everyone get ready to buy another graphics card. I'm buying these thing like candy. Well another 400.00 bucks to enable DirecrtX 11 features, boooo. Its like we have to buy a new card every month to keep up. Someone is getting very rich off of me.
