don't work for me either... Install finishes and and error prompt comes up saying

"No ati graphics driver is installed or the ati driver is not functioning properly"

It's almost as if there is not driver in the package. I don't remember what the older cat's looked like when you installed them, but when I chose custom install theres CCC and something else, but no option to select or deselect the actual driver.

Either way, since people are having problems I'd wait before trying them

Uh, wow. I just installed these and ran 3dmark06 with the CCC Overdrive maxxed out, and I pulled 13,410. That is a huge jump, as CCC cant get me all the way to my max OC on the gpu. My previous max was 13596 @ 890 core 975 ram. Summary:

Old max = 13596 @ 890 core 975 ram
New 8.8 = 13410 @ 858 core 900 ram

Did it, and got same result posted by others...fail install followed by no compatible ATI device. Please post a fix if you find one people...Vista x64 here..

Installed just fine for my single card and even kept my profiles intact. I did uninstall the 8.8 betas first and rebooted. Not sure why u guys are having issues. I even picked up a few more FPS in Crysis (45 to 49 custom high @ 1920x1200)

I know I probably sound like an idiot here, but did you make sure you installed the right ones? I mean theres different driver sections on the site for media center edition, then xp pro/home, then vista.

I have yet to try them though. I'll tell you all how it goes when I do.

Do you know there is no point on updating drivers for Hd3000 or lower because there will be little to no gains and stick with the pest performence or sable ones.
