I never had a problem with iTunes 8 and Vista x64. I just download the version of iTunes for Vista x64 and it's been working fine. I don't notice anything new except the Genuis but I closed that crap out real quick.

No. Personal Computing Gaming is best off left as a monopoly for Windows right now. Same reason it's easier to code for consoles. Developing for Macs would increase development times. At a push I'll give in to macs getting games AFTER the PC market. Mac's aren't real PC's, they're flashy little toys rich kids like to show off with (without cause)

LOL, a monopoly is not necessarily good for the consumer. Imagine what would happen if there was some competition for gaming between OSX and M$. it would bring down the price of the OS for sure.

If OSX can be bought for $99 (which is the going price), and could be loaded on any PC, M$ would have to bring down it's price, or up its performance/quality (or all of the above).

It is a proven fact that a monopoly does not benefit anyone but the monopolist itself.

On topic. I had no real problems with the OS and the original iTunes 8 release. But my Outlook had some issues. So I updates to the new release. We will see if it helps.

Yeah I'm gonna have to agree lol it would be kinda nice if OSX would just install and run on a PC. The only thing is DRIVERS. Just to point out as well, it's $129 :P I work at an Apple Store

I know my brother ordered it for $99. He had me build him an X38 based Mac/PC and he wanted a license.

As for drivers, they would be figured out somehow if the market demand was enough to push the OSX designers to do so.

Yeah they would for sure. Haha did he get OSX off of eBay or something? Cost from Apple is higher than $99
