The market they're aiming for is not us, it's those everyday people who buy Dells who don't realize PC means personal computers. To those people, there are PC which is everyday computers which are Windows based PC then there are Macs which are OS X based PCs and now there is Linux which no one really knows about and just calls it Linux. PC = Windows Mac = OS X Linux = Linux That's how it is for the Dell buyers and that's how it probably will stay.

I find it strange that I'm watching commercials like this.
__________________I dislike the ending of both the ads. It would be nice if these ads felt more accurate, in terms of how their operating system relates to the feel of the ad... Especially Vista, in terms of social engineering and general presentation (userfriendly) and stability. I work repairing computers and such, and these Vista problems are really just annoying me (and the people that come in with the problems!)

Their next commercial could have the Mac and PC guys from the Apple commercial, and the Mac guy could say "I'm a Mac, which means I'm really a PC, but fancy looking, and you'll be paying more for my older slower parts, because I'm a Mac."
Anyway, I'm glad Microsoft is using a decent commercial finally, their other ones weren't terrible, they just weren't straightforward enough for the mass market. And although I would love to see them stick it directly to Apple in the commercial like Apple did to them, I'm glad they didn't resort to the same crap Apple did.
