If you notice in all of the "I am a Mac, and I am a PC" commercials, they use a young hip guy to portray the mac, while they chose to use an older guy with glasses to play the PC. What this does is target the younger audience (kinda like Nintendo does).

This is Microsoft's answer. Saying that the PC can be represented by anyone, hence "Windows without walls."

I want to hear them explain why Windows is better than OSX. That is the point I'm missing - because they don't offer it. Again, most people accept the "We're Microsoft" line, and most people are susceptible to identity advertising. And hell, few will understand any of the technical information they could provide.

Maybe I'm asking too much. But informative advertising this is not.

id love to see Microsoft poke fun at Apple, but they havnt gone down to that level yet, but Apple deserve it for making such lies with there ads


and the Apple make up there expencive computers with software stuff is bull $hit, there software is allot cheaper then there hardware, and you can get the same software on pc that does a better job,

plus most mac heads compare Server class hardware that most mac desktops (except the imac) use to desktop pc hardware, and thats really lame, because server class hardware always outclasses desktop class hardware

you could get windows server hardware and run windows vista on it, then it would outclass the mac hardware

but most mac users dont know this and go on about how there SERVER hardware owns most windows desktops,

they really need to update there knowledge about server and desktop hardware
