Mozilla is now adopting private browsing. Something IE already has. IE also has smoother scrolling and when you go back and forth between pages it takes you to the scrolled down part,,, not top of page like mozilla. I think uncle Billys IE pownz us all!!! and you my friend pown a sexy LG "24 to make up for your 8 year old ubbber dubber gear! lol ,, jk

you can enable smooth scrolling in advanced options(been that ways since 2.0 i think), and firefox does take you to the scrolling part when you go back and forth, don't know what your talking about.

Came from Safari in the first place anyway, so m$ and "open source" both lose this time

Yep. FF takes me to where I was in the page last, not to the top of the page.

As if it matters. Many Mac OS X components are built upon FreeBSD ("open source"), which is built upon BSD 4.x, which is a reverse engineered UNIX OS.

Every idea you think of is probably based on something else you've experienced in your life. Every book you've read borrows ideas from other books, from other experiences. And those experiences come from further experiences.

Besides, "copying" or "inspiration" in the context of browsers makes browser more competitive and thus provide motivation for improving them.

/endrant.

BTW, I think the memory leak may be due to every tab keeping an image of itself. This was a feature that I think is actually in the 3.2 pre-alphas now, but may have been started and not removed from the 3.1 line.

If these updates will make 3 stop crashing on me for NO reason, I'll actually stop using 2.
