* Fixed a problem parsing the monitor sync range X config file options.
* Fixed a problem with the SDI sync skew controls in nvidia-settings.
* Fixed a problem that caused some SDI applications to hang or crash.
* Added support for SDI full-range color.
* Improved compatibility with recent Linux kernels.
Finally...I was having issues with the latest kernel and it looks like they've solved it with this release...haven't tried them yet tho.

Is it still crashy? I've been avoiding 180.xx for that reason.

haven't tried it yet, but this one isn't a beta...so I imagine it wouldn't be that bad...I heard bad things about the beta drivers iirc.]

Some people are having problems with suspend (mobile chips mostly), as well as problems overclocking certain 9xxx cards.

alright so I've tried them out and they work fine so far with 2.6.28. Haven't done much testing but they haven't crashed or frozen.
