I only use wireless in my home for the itouch and when my bro comes round with his laptop, everything else is wired. I may look into mac adress filtering, as im only using wpa2.

WPA is not un-crackable, nothing is.

To crack WPA you must capture the WPA handshake between a client machine and the access point. Once you have this handshake captured, you can take the .cap file to your 18-jiggawatt desktop and crack it there. And, considering most people still use un-salted passwords, rainbow tables can also be used to greatly reduce the time it takes to crack a WPA key...

By greatly reduce I mean something like this:

Google 'rainbow tables' to read more.

Haha, yes, spoofing a MAC address takes about 5 seconds. An app like airodump-ng will show you the MAC addresses of any machines within range of your machines wifi NIC (whether or not they're associated with an access point). Aircrack-ng will allow you to de-authenticate clients who are associated with an access point.

So if you can steal a MAC and de-authenticate a legitimate client... well, you get the picture...
