awww thats sad to see - i hate piracy , noobs that just pirate without even realizing they are hurting employees - and the game company - and the games

and even if they are informed they have a "i don't care" attitude makes me hate em even more, they just go on about DRM, Pricing, and what ever else they can think of to justify their crime it's so lame
even if they had the $100 AUD to go out and buy a expensive PC game, they will just pirate it - and spend the cash else were even though they will deny this action

point is - pirates are just losers that steal games/music/movies - make up lame excuses / arguments get others believe their lame false arguments and join their crusade or w/e funny thing is, allot of idiots actually believe what pirates say and join them :S

and they just end up hurting people / companys and thats why piracy is illegal not because they don't make money - but your taking money away from companys / their employees / get people fired

They can save money by leaving DRM out of their PC releases. That way, they won't have to pay licensing fees to Macromedia (I think) who owns Securom.

Pirates will pirate. They won't be stopped. So stop punishing legit consumers EA.

No its actualy NOT pirates fault that this is happening. EA makes crap games and put the most invasive DRM on them because they want to make it "harder" to crack.

This hurts people who buy the game, people who pirate it get a clean copy with no limits.

Also this piracy talk is way off topic because the article is about the economy not piracy.

Yes and it has only gotten worse. They also considered making money off of my clans server by selling ads on it which also torques me as well.
