I'd challenge that statement, over; and over.

The best Anti-spyware solution I've came across is actually FREE and its called SuperAntiSpyware.

Don't take my word for it, just go read around. Don't get your information from the box or a PC MAG. They are paid to write that crap. I've been doing troubleshooting for administration for home users, small businesses, and some larger ones for almost 5 years; that includes spyware and virus cleanups. I can tell you Spysweeper just doesn't cut it, it misses things and it is heavy on the PC during scans and updates. SuperAntiSpyware and not only finds spyware/adware, but it also finds trojans and viruses. They have a paid for edition but it really isn't needed.

You know whats safer than living in Iraq in a house that has bullet proof windows, 5" thick reinforced steel doors and walls and a team of US marines patrolling the perimeter with air support standing by?

Not living in Iraq.

Can't believe you actually use that bloated piece of software, its horrendous !
norton used to be bloated but not anymore. 2008 and up (360 norton and 2008/09) Nav are really put together really well. Most laptops we get at work, the company software takes the most ram and processes. Norton uses very little.. It's close to avast usage

I'll just let a few reviews say the rest.

In the long run it just comes down to what works for you. Ever since I got this program I've had no problems so as long as that is true you can't really say it's bad.

I would disagree. In a nutshell, this article is not well thought out. As an somewhat academic-oriented individual, I find it provides very little detail and no citations.

I find this much more interesting, even though it only shows raw data in relation to security bugs:

FAIL.
I've always said the best Anti-malware is common sense, regardless of what silly broswer you use. No one listens.
