Could you possibly play a game off the original PS2 dvd?

EDIT: Nevermind, Burnout: Revenge doesn't work.

I wouldnt put too much money on that. they try really hard to prevent people from ripping the games into ISO files, so I doubt the program will have the software necessary to decode the DRM.

I'm not sure how the playability or framerates are in these games, especially with newer hardware (the last time I used this emulator, Pentium 4's were new and popular). I believe it supports reading from physical drives, as well as images.

Kingdom Hearts works reasonable (playable) well with my setup (no OCing atm). This version seems to run it quite well with less setup.

The thing about this emulator is it utilizes all your hardware. You'll see a noticeable improvement if you overclock your computer a little, even if you overclock your ram the performance improvements are obvious.

(In order to play, however, you need a PS2 bios, which basically means you need a PS2.)

They do work, but you can also make an ISO out of them, they should load faster since a HDD is faster than DVD.

Fair warning: This emulator runs like crap on ATi cards.
