For me at the moment though, Youtube HD is enough. On Australia's connections, it's just not worth trying to load anything higher bitrate. Nice to know it exists though

I upload nothing but HD videos to Youtube all day long (like at least 5 a day or so) - and they look nothing like the source video. It's a whole lot blurrier, not just a little - alot.

QFT i do the same thing and it's just not the same. Looks great for it's HD size. But go Full screen on a youtube HD vid and one of these vids. My screen is 21.5 @1080p This site blows Youtube away.

I wonder what the actual specs of youtubes acclaimed HD is, it has to be at least half the size of 720p and compressed to HELL.

no, youtube IS 720p. there is a screenshot with the info on youtube video in the article. look closely.
