digusting. Thats why i Have 4 routers :P. I would not pay one penny. I'm sick of the RIAA. Seriously. The amount of money they make any way is insane, and in ungodly amounts anyway. The RIAA should eat it. I honestly don't 25 dollars on iTunes would make any difference and one more thing. Kazaa is legall now wouldn't that make a difference?

I used to say the same thing when I saw all the unfairness of this system but growing up showed me that all countries have crap I don't even want to deal with, plus if the system is so bad why are so many foreigners trying to get in? You're better off where you are, it is your background.

Besides where else can you get rich suing a dry cleaner for $6 million over a pair of pants?

Her domestic situation should have no bearing on the verdict or the penalty. People need to get that straight.

Look at all the innocent people in prison, 133 have been released from death row and you know they all took there cases to trial and they really were innocent, LOL

Seeing as wrongful death suits get people less money than file sharing (which is essentially saying that those 24 songs were worth MORE MONEY than a life) and that this guy above did a DUI manslaughter and got... 30 days. Cause he's rich.

What she was doing was downloading illegal music and sharing it with other people. It wasn't that she was making them pay, but the act of making illegal copies of music available to others. If it was just downloading I think she'd not have been in such a big amount of trouble. But distributing was the big factor. Though they couldn't prove that she did willfully share it with other people. They did also note that they would be going after the bigger distributors somewhere in there. The article is far too long and boring to pick these facts of unless you take a long time to read it.
