I didn't read the whole thread, but my opinion is the following: I'd take the $5,000 dollars agreement, just to get out of the trouble or... take this as far as possible, which of course, will only be possible if she has the support of a lot of the population in the US

This is just getting bigger, and I hope she can get through this. Now, I do understand that she broke the law but, as the article says, in the Eighth Amendment it is clearly stated that, this kind of punishment is just ridiculous (to put it in simple words). What's next, if a guy steals some food, will they execute him?
