But no, the knife crime over here is blown out of proportion.

But the solid and winning fact is we don't have guns. So, if someone pisses you off, you just go beat them up instead of killing them with a gun. It's much more manly and humane.

Like, there's a manhunt in Keighley, WY for Craig Meehan. If they're going to kill him, it's going to be with their bare hands. Good stuff.

So when you have a bunch of cops yelling "We have the place surrounded" i guess you don't have to worry. All they might do is throw a rock at you.

The only things reported in the news are bad things, because that is what gets the best ratings for the station. You believe that if its not in the news it didn't happen?

America must be doing horribly in Iraq then, because that is all the news reports. Lets not talk about the rebuilding we have done, how happy the citizens are that we have given them a country that is actually safe to live in, lets not talk about how we defeated an entire army in one week.....because none of that actually has happened, since it wasn't in the news that is.

Eve is a sandbox. The game is formed by its players. The fact that the game is dynamic enough that stuff like this CAN happen is why I love it!

Your example really fails. Digital cash can be used to purchase real life things. EVE virtual currency cant buy you a car.

Using a debit card has no "exchange" into real life cash. It's direct.

You can receive direct deposit from your employer (an electronic transfer of funds). With your electronic funds you can exchange them for Paypal funds. With your paypal funds you can purchase real things. The method of payment was all electronic.

I'd be pissed if my boss tried to pay me with EVE currency, wouldn't you?
