The problem I see is this: Firefox is open source. It's alot easier to develop add-ons for it, where as Chrome and IE isn't. Statistically speaking, if the odds of developing a good add-on is constant, then more also means a higher number of better add-ons as well.

Actually, Google Chrome (and it's non-snitch twin SRWare Iron, my choice amongst browsers) is open-source. Check this link.

My bad. It'll still be hard for Chrome to fight Firefox though, since Firefox is alot more entrenched.

I ditched Firefox a long while ago. I only use Google Chrome right now and occasionally Firefox once in a while.

I like chromes home page. its kinda like opera but faster. i dont even have FF installed anymore.
