Got three Macs in my house. Not sure how good it really is, so I'll hold off a bit and see how the reviews are.

At least 2X performance increase, all from software. I'd say that's pretty damn good.

Got my copy and its running great! Im throwing it on my mini this weekend. Oh and the funny thing is Snow Leopard is the full OS X not just an upgrade so the fact that you can buy the full OS for $30 is pretty cool in itself.

UGH. Have been out of town the last few days and I finally got around to Best Buy this evening and they sold out in "6 hours" apparently. And after checking online, every BB in my area is sold out.

I know I don't need SL by any means but it seems like such a great update....I want it nao.

If my iMac late 2007 could only take 4gb ram on 32bit, could it potentially take more now? Is it definately a chipset limitation?

Yep, out of stock everywhere here, too. I just ordered it online anyway since I had a gift card, it was $25, and shipping was free. Says it'll get here around 9/9, and that's fine since I'm pretty busy anyway.

Can't wait. Wait, I am waiting. lol.
