Yay! Just got it installed. Although, I have to say....you have to restart the computer a few times and wait about a half hour after that for everything to not be slow. I think it's Spotlight indexing that's taking so long....

Hmm. I've read A LOT of problems from people who upgraded.

You might fix the problems if you do a full backup and do a fresh install.

Hmm...no problems at all, besides the normal couple restarts for major upgrades.

I think I'll wait to do a fresh install until I upgrade to larger HDD. I have 2 more months until my 3 years is up so when that happens (and I get a last full Applecare checkup), I'll upgrade my HDD from this lousy 120gb to something larger and do a fresh install of Snow Leopard.

it loads slower for me than 10.5, i did the upgrade, firefox takes longer to open. but its not my primary OS, i use win 7 in bootcamp most of the time.

man how hard is it for apple to make back and forward buttons work on the mice like they do in any windows, i'm tired of installing third party apps just to get those buttons working. i'm mean every mouse company puts them on mouse for a reason, apple need to get with the program, and really make it "Just work" lol. cause right now it just doesn't work.

Same here, although FF is always rather slow. After my boot cache becomes stable, FF boots almost instantly upon login in Leopard, but it's a little bit slower in SL.

Seriously -_-

Although my (notebook & primary) mouse doesn't even have side buttons lol
