Wow, just plain lame. I found the little comment in the article about showing that OC'ers can be attractive too funny, I think that video just shows that paid actors/actresses can be attractive.

Anyway, we all know that there has never ever been an auto-overclock feature worth a damn. Not one. Also, their depiction of the OC'er neglected to show the pride and accomplishment he felt once he had dialed in his best, stable OC.

Asus misses the point of their core market. They can't think this is going to appeal to ANYONE, right? I mean, maybe OC noobs, but they quickly learn better, the rest of us are just turned off by this stuff.

haha, my P5e deluxe offers me to oc my e8400 to 3.16ghz, that is puny compared to 4ghz.

Why not? There's absolutely no reason.

Well, theoretically, it should work. It will probably let you set a threshold for temps and voltage, then it will just keep increasing freq/voltage until one of the thresholds is hit (under stress).

Unlike the profiles in your BIOS, this one actually tests. It takes some time, like it shows in the video, but it's automated... which is the entire point.
