i may be wrong on this, but wasn't one of the big issues with vista that companies couldn't release official vista drivers till it was released? That has not been the case with windows 7

Why so many Windows versions so fast? I think they want the main meat of Vista to become mainstream and not be called a POS 24/7. XP lasted for the longest time...

That's a pile of lies, win 7 even the early rc release already blew vista to bits...and that's after they already "fixed" vista. so in my eyes win 7 is already a success. I hope ms continues this trend of letting the public beta their future os's prior to release rather than just to the techies
